Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has entered the semi-finals of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL)
Guyana Amazon Warriors beat Barbados Tridents by six wickets in Friday morning’s game to advance to the semifinals two games ahead of Jamaica. Barbados and St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots are out of the league stage of the CPL.

In the CPL, Trinbego Knight Riders, Guyana, St. Lucia Jukes and Jamaica have made it to the semifinals. CPL now has four games left in the league stage. The semi-final match will be completed after the four games. The first semi-final will be between the top-ranked team and the fourth-ranked team.
In the second semi-final, there will be competition between the second and third placed teams in the points table. The semi-finals will be held on September 8 and the final on September 10.
Unbeaten Trinbego Knight Riders are top with 16 points from eight games. Guyana is in second place with 12 points from 10 games with 6 wins and 4 losses. St. Lucia Jukes is third with 5 wins in 8 games and 3 losses.
Jamaica is in fourth place with 7 points, including 4 defeats and 3 wins in 8 games. Barbados is fifth with 4 points from 9 games, including 2 wins and 7 losses. St. Kitts is at the bottom with 3 points including 7 defeats and 1 win in 9 games.
