Rabindra Dhungel, 29 august 2020. Corona infection has been confirmed in 71 journalists in Nepal so far. According to the Federation of Nepali Journalists, corona infection has been confirmed in 71 journalists from six other states except the Far West.
According to the federation, corona infection has been confirmed in 13 journalists in Province 1. They are 12 from Morang and 1 from Udaipur. Similarly, 27 journalists in Province 2 have been confirmed infected.
The infected people are 13 from Parsa, 4 from Bara, 2 from Dhanusha, 3 from Saptari, 3 from Sarlahi, 1 and 1 from Mahottari and Rautahat. So far, 11 journalists have been infected in Bagmati. Of them, 9 are from Kathmandu and 2 from Lalitpur.
So far, eight journalists have been infected in Gandaki. A total of eight people have been confirmed infected, including one from Kaski and seven from Nawalpur. Eleven people have been infected in five states.
Two people from Banke, one from Bardiya, six from Kapilvastu and two from Rupandehi have been infected. Similarly, one journalist from Dailekh in Karnali has been infected.
