[Wearing a mask is dangerous for children: WHO ]

Rabindra Dhungel, 24 august 2020. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that wearing a mask is dangerous for children five years of age or younger. He has requested that children in that age group not wear masks. Similarly, children between the ages of 6 and 11 can wear masks.

The organization urges parents to teach them how to wear a mask and how to remove it. Similarly, children above 12 years of age will be subject to the same rules as adults, the organization said. The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a new rule on wearing masks for people over 12 years of age.

In addition, the organization has suggested that people under the age of 60 wear a cloth mask. However, those over 60 years of age and those with any other disease should wear a medical mask, the organization said.
