How many Nepalis are being vaccinated against corona ?

In Nepal, 28 percent of the population is under 14 years of age.
20 percent vaccine will be brought free of cost through Covax facility. The government will have to bear the budget required to vaccinate 52 percent of the people. The government estimates that it will cost Rs 48 billion.

As there is no cold chain of minus 70 degree Celsius for vaccine storage in Nepal, it is said that there is no possibility of vaccination of Pfizer. The government is preparing for the vaccine to be stored at a temperature of minus 20 degrees Celsius. Vaccines given in Nepal are being stored at a temperature of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius.

Nepal is leading in the rate of coronavirus infection free among SAARC nations. After India, Nepal has been found to be the most infection free.

According to World Meter, 94.28 percent of the total infected people in India have been infected so far. Similarly, 93.40 percent of the total infected people in Nepal have become infection free. Of the total infected in Maldives, 92.81 per cent, Bhutan 91.27 per cent, Pakistan 85.31 per cent, Bangladesh 82.68 per cent, Afghanistan 78.68 per cent and Sri Lanka 73.18 per cent have been declared free.
So far, 9,058,822 out of 9,68,418 people have been infected in India. Out of a total of 239,885 infected people in Nepal, 224,053 have become infection free. Out of a total of 13,143 infected people in the Maldives, 12,199 have been infected, according to the World Meter. Out of a total of 424 infected people in Bhutan, 387 have been declared uninfected. Out of a total of 413,191 infected people in Pakistan, 352,529 have been declared infection free. Out of 475,789 infected people in Bangladesh, 393,408 have been declared free.
