Yamaha has also run an informative campaign on the differences between FI and carburetor engines. Yamaha bikes have an FI engine and it is said to be an excellent technology.
The FI engine is now a well-known term and is used in most two-wheeled vehicles. This technology is an automated version of the carburetor and the latest technology, which is connected to the motorcycle with its 8 sensors 9 crank position sensor, coolant thermometer sensor, intake air pressure sensor, throttle position sensor, otto sensor, lean angle sensor and speed sensor. This includes ECU. The monitors receive the data and initiate action accordingly. Ultimately, motorcycles, like the brains and senses in the human body, respond well.
Yamaha introduced the technology more than a decade ago in early 2008 with the first product of its Yamaha R15. This technology has been proven to be the best technology in FZ series, R9 series and recently introduced MT15.
