Along with this fall, gold has been fixed at Rs 96,600 per tonne and acid gold at Rs 96,100 per tonne. Gold prices remained stable on Wednesday. On the same day, fine gold was traded at Rs 97,500 per ounce and acid gold at Rs 97,000 per ounce.
Last Tuesday, the price of gold had risen by Rs 600 per tola. Along with this increase, fine gold was traded at Rs 97,500 per ounce and acid gold at Rs 97,000 per ounce on Tuesday. The price of gold, which had risen by Rs 400 on Monday, remained stable on Sunday. Today, the price of silver has also decreased by Rs 20 to Rs 1,320 per ounce. Silver traded at Rs 1,340 per ounce yesterday. Traders said that despite the fluctuation in gold and silver prices, the market was very sluggish.
