One person was killed in a landslide in Gaurishankar village of North Dolakha district. Nine houses, including a health post, have been flooded due to the floods.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh Shiwakoti, 28, of Gaurishankar rural municipality -8, Sunkhani of Kalinchok rural municipality in Tunitar of Khare.
On the same day, the floods from Gaurishankar rural municipality -6, Gurumphi instead of Suri Khola have damaged nine houses including a health post. About 40 people have been displaced.
Similarly, the landslide on the same day has damaged four houses in Gaurishankar 8 Khare Jyamire and buried dozens of cattle.
Landslides are taking place in various places including Chankhu and Marvu of Gaurishankar rural municipality.
Hydropower projects including Sipringkhola, Universal and Surikhola in the northern region have been damaged.
