Speaking to Reuters, Fauchi said he had been reassured that there would be no pressure on the corona vaccine. He said: “Even if the corona virus is vaccinated, there is no guarantee that it will be eradicated. And now it is not possible to say that the vaccine will come at this time. But so far the process has moved forward in a positive way.
He said no country has experienced the effects of corona like the United States now, adding that 20 to 25 percent of deaths in the United States alone are due to corona. With less than 5 percent of the world’s population, the death toll from the corona is about 25 percent, which shows the impact on the United States, he said.
