Rabindra Dhungel, 12 october 2020. Honda’s first motorcycle in the 200cc segment is coming to Nepal. The motorcycle Harnet 2.0, which was made public in India only last month, is coming to Nepal during the festive season. According to company sources, an attempt is being made to bring Harnet 2.0 to Nepal a decade ago.
The company is preparing to launch it after a decade of failure to go public. With the launch of this motorcycle, Honda will compete with TVS RTR 200 Four V and Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 in the 200cc segment.
The company had unveiled the new Hornet 2.0 with a premium feature priced at INR 126,000. No information has been received about its price in Nepal. Honda has offered the USD Fark, Al Digital Blue Vaclit Instrument console to make the Hornet 2.0 premium.
Hornet 2.0 was unveiled on the occasion of Honda’s 25th anniversary in India. The company has given it HET PGM FI engine. The 184 cc engine generates 17.03 bhp of power and 16.1 Nm of torque.
The digital console also has a battery vault meter. Features like double petal disc brakes, single channel ABS, gold color upside down difference, monoshock suspension, shield chain, LED headlamps and taillamps are available in the new Hornet 2.0.
