Harley Davidson’s smallest CC capacity motorcycle being produced
By Rabindra Dhungel, 8 october 2020. A patent image of Harley Davidson’s smallest CC-capable motorcycle has come out. A patent picture of Harley’s 338 cc motorcycle manufacturing has been confirmed. With the appointment of a new CEO at Harley in July 2020, Harley is expected to make an aggressive start.
Spy picture of Harley 338 R, which has been discussed in various international media as Wavy Harley, is expected to start production as soon as it is released.
The Harley 338 R has a 338 cc parallel twin engine. The engine generates 43 horsepower and is expected to have a 6-speed gearbox. It will have inverted telescopic differential and monoshock suspension. Features like wheel braking system, swing arm are taken from Benelli 302S.
Harley said the motorcycle is targeted at a low-selling Harley motorcycle market. Accordingly, the Asian market will be its first priority. There is still a good market for Harley’s entry level motorcycles.
