Rabindra Dhungel, 8 october 2020. Bikes of German auto brand BMW are now becoming popular in the Nepali market. These bikes are popular because of their attractive design, comfortable features, and strong build. Premium brand BMW has been providing excellent post-purchase services. Dipesh Shrestha, market chief of BMW Motorrad Nepal, the official distributor of the brand, says that the customers of this brand do not have to go to the workshop for servicing as the bikes of this brand will deteriorate quickly due to the strong and sturdy engine.

He said that full servicing would be done every 10,000 kilometers, i.e. once a year and it would cost a total of Rs 5,500. He claims that the company has been providing premium bike servicing in a premium manner. At present, its state-of-the-art and well-equipped service center is in operation within the Naxal-based showroom premises in Kathmandu.

It has been almost 2 years since BMW entered Nepal. Launched in December 2018, its sales have so far exceeded 250 units and all the bikes are operating smoothly, Shrestha said. “If there is a problem, the company will take immediate action,” he said. The genuine spare parts and lubricants, including the BMW brand’s fully synthetic engine mane, are used to ensure the rider’s confidence in the quality of servicing. ‘He claims that the rider should not face any problem as the spare parts are available in sufficient quantity. He says that even the price of spare parts is not as expensive as rumored in the market.

He says, ‘Since it is a new and even premium brand, the rider may be confused as to whether its spare parts will be too expensive. But in fact its spare parts are also accessible. The price of spare parts has been fixed on par with other bikes of the same range available in the market, ”he said.

There are currently 4 models available in the market. The price ranges from 950,000 to 1115,000 rupees. At present, customers who want to buy BMW G310 GS and BMW G310R as the tenth offer will also get a discount offer of Rs 60,000, according to Nepal Auto.
