Within minutes of submitting the application, the customer will get the loan amount in their account through the ‘virtual credit card’. You have to be a Nabil smart bank user to avail the facility. Also, this type of loan is provided for a short period. Customers wishing to take a loan do not have to visit a bank branch and complete any paperwork. You can apply for a loan using the Smart Bank app. It is mentioned in the release that the bank will complete the entire process and disburse the loan immediately. No additional collateral is required as it is inherent with the customer’s banking business.
Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Anil Keshari Shah, said that this is a very popular loan scheme due to its features like no collateral, no paperwork, no bank branch visit and instant loan. He said, “It is a matter of pride for the first time in Nepal to be able to offer such a simple and easy facility through the Smart Bank app.” Nabil has 119 branches and 184 ATMs across the country.
