Therefore, the body needs essential nutrients from various foods. Every food has different nutrients. Just as grains and potatoes are rich in nutrients, fruits and vegetables contain other nutrients. Thus the body needs a variety of foods for essential nutrients. A balanced diet helps keep the body healthy and vibrant. It enhances the body’s immune system and protects the body from various diseases.

According to nutritionists, a balanced diet is a diet or diet that contains adequate amounts of fluids, micronutrients, calories and other nutrients, the intake of which helps to maintain overall health. Generally, a balanced diet includes grains, fruits, fish, vegetables, dairy products, and oils of all kinds.

Water also plays an important role in keeping the body healthy. Generally, a healthy adult is advised to consume at least eight to ten glasses of water a day. Vegetables and fruits are rich sources of fiber, vitamins and minerals, which strengthen the body’s immune system.
