Bank of Kathmandu announces dividend, shareholders will get 16 percent return
Rabindra Dhungel, 2 October 2020. Bank of Kathmandu has announced dividend to shareholders. The Board of Directors meeting held on Wednesday has decided to pay a total dividend of 16 percent from the profit of the Fiscal Year 2076/77. The bank will pay 13 percent bonus share and 3 percent cash dividend (including for tax purposes).
The proposed dividend will be distributed to the investors after the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank and the approval of the next general meeting of the bank. At present, the paid up capital of this bank is Rs. 8 billion 546.8 million. The bank’s paid-up capital will reach Rs 9.65 billion after the proposed bonus shares are passed and distributed to the shareholders.
The bank has made a profit of Rs. Out of this, the distributable profit is Rs. 887 million.
