Agreement between MoneyGram, IME and IME Pay, money sent from MoneyGram will be received from Pay
By Rabindra Dhungel, 2 October 2020. MoneyGram International, Remittance Company IME and IME Pay have entered into an agreement for Ptupi Money Transfer. According to the agreement, Nepali citizens who remit money through MoneyGram from all over the world will be able to receive money directly in IME Pay Wallet.
MoneyGram has given its customers in 200 countries around the world the opportunity to connect to digital platforms. Ridge Sohail, MoneyGram’s Global Strategic Sales Head for South Asia, said he was pleased to sign an agreement with IME Pay.
Sohail believes that during the global outbreak of the corona virus, clients can safely receive money at home or in their wallets. The company has stated that it will get cashback of Rs 60 per transaction on the occasion of launching the service. This cashback will be implemented by December.
Hemraj Dhakal, chairman of IME Digital Solutions, said that the corona epidemic has brought the facility of sending money to one’s own wallet by adopting security precautions.
