Manakamana cable car tickets now from mobile

Manakamana Cable Car, Nepal’s first cable car, and e-Seva, a digital payment service provider, have signed a ticket purchase and sale agreement, according to a statement issued by the company. With the agreement, devotees will no longer have to wait in long lines to buy tickets. The cable car has added such arrangement with the objective of encouraging cashless transactions while purchasing tickets keeping in mind the health and safety of the devotees.
Devotees can buy e-tickets directly on the devotees’ mobiles and computers when they buy tickets, the company said. Manakamana cable car is currently closed due to corona virus. Devotees will be able to use this service once the cable car is operational. The government has decided to open a religious temple and is preparing to operate a cable car service with high health security.
