Laliguran’s Cooperative Launches ATM Service


Rabindra Dhungel, 1 october 2020. Pulchowk-based Shree Laliguran’s Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited has completed its 21st year and entered its 22nd year. On the occasion of the 22nd anniversary, Chief Executive Officer of the organization Surendra Bhandari discussed the contribution made by the organization in the development of the economic sector of the country. He announced that the organization has started selling dairy products by establishing Shree Laligunras Dairy Processing Industry with its investment over a period of 22 years.






It was informed at the annual festival program that the organization has inaugurated a milk processing industry in Godabari and started selling milk, curd, mohi, nauni and dhyu commercially. The cooperative, which has succeeded in establishing the identity of an excellent organization by establishing the largest cow farm in Nepal at Khairhani in Chitwan, has committed to provide more facilities to its members.




Chief Executive Officer of the organization Bhandari said that the organization will continue to move forward with new programs and plans in the coming year. The organization has started the ATM service of the organization from today. The service will be provided from today at the ATM located at the head office in Pulchowk. Now, all shareholders can avail ATM services, the organization said. Chief Executive Officer of the organization Bhandari said that the organization will provide ATM booth at its other service facility counters in the near future.








The organization, which operates member convenience counters at Chapagaun in Lalitpur, Chabahil and New Road in Kathmandu, Kaushaltar in Bhaktapur and Parsa in Chitwan, said it has effectively provided services to its shareholders. The organization currently has about 21,000 share members and has directly provided employment to more than 300 people.





Registered at Division Cooperative Office, Lalitpur on September 6, 2056 BS, the organization has been providing scholarships to the poor and deserving students studying in Shree Laligurans National University and Laligurans College and other schools and colleges under its social responsibility. Laliguran’s Hospital Pvt. Ltd. in Talchilekh, Laliguran’s National Higher Secondary / College Pvt. Including investments in various other organizations. The organization has been providing orientation and other training to its employees to make its service standard, simplified and effective.





The organization is going to expand its services in different places and districts of the Kathmandu Valley next year to provide more facilities to its members. Chief Executive Officer of the organization Bhandari said that the government has been shrinking the cooperative sector recently. He mentioned that they have started to bring misery by bringing unrealistic policy of reducing interest rates and allowing one person to be a member of only one cooperative. Chief Executive Officer Bhandari, who is also the president of the Nepal Multipurpose Cooperatives Association, said that the government should have a different view on the cooperative sector and clarified that it was necessary to change the negative view.






The organization is going to organize a blood donation program on the occasion of the annual celebration.
