By Rabindra Dhungel, 30 september 2020. The Ministry of Industry has written to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) to arrest five digital currency dealers, including Pai. The Commerce Supply and Consumer Protection Department under the ministry has written to the CIB asking them to arrest them and assist in the investigation. The department has mentioned that such networks are illegally cheating Nepalis living in the country and abroad.
The letter requested the CIB to arrest the responsible person of the company and bring him to the department for further investigation. The department has written to the CIB with their names and phone numbers. In the letter sent by the department, Govind Shrestha, Ashok Neupane and Ratnakaji Shrestha of One Coin Digital Currency, Gyanendra Khadka and Krishna Kumar Maharjan of Excel Token, Vijay Shah and Dinesh Shah of Cash Coin and Parmananda Shrestha of Pinework have been arrested and produced before the department.
