KTM 390 adventure motorcycle public in Nepali market
Rabindra Dhungel, 28 september 2020. Premium motorcycle brand KTM has unveiled the much awaited KTM 390 adventure motorcycle in the Nepali market. Abhimanyu Golchha, director of Hanshraj Hulashchand & Company, started selling the motorcycle in the middle of a program. The company has stated that this motorcycle will be sold in showrooms across Nepal from today. The company had opened its booking some time ago.
KTM 390 Adventure has made a great arrival in the emerging touring culture of Nepal’s adventure biking. With its ‘Ready to Race’ mantra, KTM has an unparalleled history in motor sports. KTM has been consistently dominating the most difficult rally called Dakar Rally.
The winner of the 390 Adventure Dakar Rally is inspired by the KTM 450 Rally. The 390 Adventure has a lightweight trolley frame chassis, 170 mA WP long travel suspension. It has Metzeller’s Nobi tires suitable for both premium on-road and off-road. It also has a high ground clearance of 200 mm, long wheelways, extended windshields and a safe base plate for the engine.
It has the features of super bikes, such as traction control, cornering ABS, quick shifter. Also, the use of smartphone connectivity and full-color TFT display for turn-by-turn navigation has made it premium.
This motorcycle has a 373 cc state-of-the-art DOHC single cylinder, EFI engine. Its electronics, such as Ride by Wire, generate 43 bhp of power and 37 Nm of torque. The company has stated that the price of 390 Adventure has been fixed at Rs. 999,900. This motorcycle will compete with the BMW G310 GS in the Nepali market. Price range for the BMW G310 GS starts at 1,090,000.
