Rabindra Dhungel, 28 september 2020. The Google Meet (Google Meeting) service, introduced by Google, a leading company in the field of information technology, is now available for one hour for free. Google recently launched the Google Meet service to allow online video chats and conversations. Initially, all services were provided free of charge, but now from September 30, only 60 minutes at a time can be used for free.

A Google spokesperson said that in the past, more than 100 people could have free meetings and chats at the same time, but now the time is limited. He also clarified that no changes have been made in the other services and working methods of Google Meet and if any is done, it will be informed. According to him, the ‘Google Meet’ now allows educational users to hold meetings with more than 250 participants at a time.

Google also said that the service will be able to broadcast live and record in Google Drive so that more than one lakh people can watch from the same domain. Google has made it clear that this service will only be available to business users. For that, consumers pay only 25 a month, according to a statement from Google.

Coronavirus epidemics have led to an increase in the use of such means as people have been unable to make physical contact. Zoom is also as popular as Google Meet for online meetings and events.
