Rabindra Dhungel, 22 september 2020. Google has introduced a new update for Gmail. In addition, email will now be the default application on devices with iOS Fortin. Users can set the third party email application as the default application on any iPhone or iPad using the latest version of Apple’s operating system. However, third party apps will also need to add support features that fit into Apple’s operating system. This support feature has been added to a recent Gmail update.

To use Gmail on iOS Fortin, users must first update their iOS device’s operating system to the latest version. Then go to iOS Settings app. There, select ‘Gmail’ in the menu and look for the new ‘Default Mail app’ in the menu. According to Google, after updating the Gmail app, it is now giving users complete instructions for the process. But a bug that appeared in iOS automatically switches to Apple’s default mail and Safari after restarting a third-party browser and email application. But Apple has not yet commented on when it will address it. Google has fully embraced the new option for Apple’s default app. Apple has already announced support for Chrome as the default browser on its iOS Fortin.
