Rabindra Dhungel, 22 september 2020. Bajaj’s Chetak scooter, which has not been produced for 14 years, is set to hit the market again. According to Indian media, Chetak is being relaunched as an electric scooter 14 years after it was discontinued.
This scooter will be available in 2 variants. According to the agency, the Eco variant’s scooter will provide 95 km and the Sport variant will provide 85 km mileage. The Chetak scooter will be available in 6 colors.
The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter will be unveiled in January 2020. Its features and pricing have not been made public yet. Chetak, first released by Bajaj Auto in 1972, was discontinued in 2006.
