Rabindra Dhungel, 20 september 2020. The Kamana Seva Bikas Bank has stated that it will give 100 percent discount on the interest for the month of September to the low-income borrowers who have self-employed for self-employment.
It has come up with a plan to give 30 percent discount on the interest rate for the month of September if all the arrears are paid to the transport businessmen.
The bank has also introduced a discount scheme on hire purchase loan and auto rickshaw loan for commercial purposes.
The bank has also stated that the interest rate will be maintained at 9.99 percent for this quarter by revising the interest rate for transport entrepreneurs and auto rickshaw entrepreneurs who have paid all their dues. The bank is also confident that the scheme will facilitate transport operators and low-income auto rickshaw operators to get maximum benefits.
The bank has been giving huge discounts on interest saying that Kovid-19 has adversely affected the overall economy of the country and especially the transport business has been most affected by it. The bank has already given 50 percent discount to the transport businessmen and 70 percent discount to the hotel and restaurant businessmen on the interest of the month of Shravan.
Headquartered at Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu-30, the bank has been providing its services and facilities to customers through 124 branches and 66 ATMs in different parts of the country. The Bank has been providing all banking services through ABBA, SMS Banking, Mobile Banking, C-ASBA, Online Banking etc. and plans to increase its services over time.
