Nepal is still in the FIFA rankings
Rabindra Dhungel, 19 september 2020. Nepal is still in the new ranking made public by the World Football Federation (FIFA). Nepal is still ranked 170th in the new rankings released by FIFA, the highest governing body of world football. Last month, Nepal was ranked 170th.
Similarly, Nepal is ranked third among South Asian nations. India and Maldives are ahead of Nepal. India dropped one place to 109th position and Maldives to 155th position.
Below Nepal are Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Bhutan is ranked 189th, Bangladesh 187th, Sri Lanka 206th and Pakistan 200th.
Belgium remains at the top of the new rankings, followed by France, Brazil, England and Portugal. Portugal jumped two places to fifth. Uruguay dropped one place to sixth, Spain to seventh, Croatia to eighth, Argentina to ninth and Colombia to tenth.
