Rabindra Dhungel, 18 september 2020. Google is set to change its cloud service Google Drive tracing policy from October 11. Under this, the file in the tray will be automatically deleted after 30 days. Until now, the files inside the tray in Google Drive remained in the drive indefinitely. If the user removed the file from the tray, it would be permanently deleted.

Deleted files could be restored even after a long time. Files that have been in your tray for a long time before will also be automatically deleted within 30 days after October 11th. The automatic tracing feature can frustrate many users. To make users aware of this feature, banner notifications have been added to Google Docs and Google Firms apps along with Google Drive.
