Yamaha launches scooters on September 7, a chance to win a new scooter by registering

Rabindra Dhungel, 15 september 2020. Yamaha has started launching a new scooter Ray ZR with FI engine for the Nepali market on September 25. Giving special gifts to the buyers, Yamaha is going to launch a live virtual for the first time in Nepal.

 

It is being coordinated by MAW Enterprises, Yamaha’s official distributor for Nepal. Asking to register for it, Yamaha said that one of the participants will also get a new scooter.

 

The new Ray ZR features a brush guard, FI engine, 30 percent more power, 16 percent improved mileage, and an in-built side stand engine cutoff switch.

 

Features like full digital instrument cluster, LED position light, tough looking headlight, stop and start system and smart motor generator are also available.

 

 

The scooter has a BS-6 standard 125cc air-cooled, fuel-injected, bluecore engine that generates 8.2 PS of power at 6,500 rpm and 9.7 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The company claims that the power output has increased by 30 percent and the fuel economy by 16 percent compared to the previous 113 cc scooter.

 

 

 

As it is an engine with FI engine, it is said to be able to run at a speed of 0 to 60 kilometers per hour in 7.59 seconds. Its price has been set at Rs 254,900, according to Nepal Auto.
