Rabindra Dhungel, 13 september 2020.  Some Australian airlines have banned passengers from carrying passengers during the journey after Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy Note 7 mobile exploded in some countries.

Samsung has even called for the return of sold mobile phones after some of them exploded while charging due to a faulty battery. The incident is estimated to have cost Samsung around Rs 150 billion.

The Note 7 has been banned from carrying passengers by Australia’s main airlines Qantas, Virgin Australia, Tiger Airways and Jetstar, as well as charging other mobiles inside the aircraft.
