Liverpool beat Leeds United 4-3 in the English Premier League
Rabindra Dhungel, 13 september 2020. Liverpool beat newcomers Leeds United 4-3 in the English Premier League. Mohamed Salah scored a hat trick for Liverpool to win. Similarly, Virgil Van Dyke scored a goal. Leeds’ Jack Harrison, Patrick Bamford and Mateu Klich scored one goal each.
The referee awarded a penalty after Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah’s shot hit defender Robin Kakko. Salah easily scored from the penalty spot to put Liverpool ahead.
But Leeds equalized in the 12th minute. Calvin Phillips’ pass was equalized by Jack Harrison. Liverpool took the lead in the 20th minute. Virgin Van Dyke’s header in the corner of Andrew Robertson was saved by Ian Mailer. But in the 30th minute, Van Dyke made a mistake and Leedscos Bamford equalized.
Within three minutes, Liverpool took the lead again. Mohamed Salah scored again. In the 87th minute of the game, Liverpool got the opportunity to take the lead for the fourth time. The referee awarded a penalty after Leeds’ Rodrigo Moreno fought Fabinho inside the penalty area. Salah completed the hat-trick by scoring from the penalty spot.
