[Shah Rukh Khan has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of London]

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of London.

 

 

 

 

He had previously been awarded an honorary PhD by The University of Bedfordshire and The University of Edinburgh. He is currently receiving an honorary doctorate from The University of Law, London.

 

 

 

 

 

Shah Rukh Khan was conferred the title at a convocation ceremony for more than 350 female students in Barbican, London.

 

 

 

 

After receiving the title, Shah Rukh said, “I have to repay the debt of honor given to me. I will work actively for women’s empowerment, refugees and human rights.” I feel overwhelmed for this doctorate, thank you to everyone who chose me. ‘
