The vaccine against corona, which Russia officially began testing on August 12, has shown positive signs. Scientists there have claimed that coronavirus vaccine tests have developed a system in humans to fight the virus.

The report, published in the medical journal The Lancet, states that all participants in the vaccine test developed an immune system that fights the virus and has no serious side effects.

Russia was the first country in the world to allow the vaccine to be used locally in August, before scientific results were published. Experts say the tests are too few to prove the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine. Some in the West have expressed concern about the speed with which Russia is working, and say that researchers may have chosen the easy way out.

What are the side effects?
Last month, President Vladimir Putin said that all the necessary tests had been met by the vaccine and that his daughter had also been tested. The vaccine, named Sputnik Five, was tested in two journals between June and July.

Thirty-eight healthy volunteers in each trial received the first vaccine and were given a booster dose three weeks later. Participants ranged in age from 18 to 60 years. They were monitored for 42 days and all developed antibodies within three weeks. They usually have common side effects of headaches and joint pain.
