[Elon Musk takes two NASA astronauts into orbit on the International Space Station]
Ellon Musk takes two NASA astronauts into orbit on the International Space Station. The launch, in collaboration with NASA, features two US astronauts, Bob Behanke and Doug Hurley. SpaceX was tasked with transporting the two astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). These two astronauts will test the system of the Dragon spacecraft.
The flight scheduled for Wednesday was postponed to Saturday due to inclement weather.
This is the first launch from US soil in a decade, before the same space station was launched in 2011. The S Space X Dragon will take 19 hours to reach the International Space Station (ISS).
At the same time, SpaceX has become the first private company to take people to space in the classroom. This marks the beginning of a new era in space travel.
Top US leaders, including President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and thousands of curious Americans, gathered Sunday afternoon to watch the launch live.
