2 weeks quarantine on IOM exam day, compulsory PCR
The Institute of Medical Studies (IOM) conducted the final postgraduate examination by quarantining the test taker and testing for corona infection. Now the same rule can be applied to the graduate examination.
The IOM’s Examination Control Division had earlier issued a five-point directive for students appearing for the exams to enter the Kathmandu Valley and stay in the mandatory home quarantine or quarantine at a hotel designated by the IOM. Those staying at the hotel quarantine will have to pay Rs 2,000 a day. Even a week before the exam, which was scheduled to be held on July 26, it was compulsory for the students to come after testing for corona infection through PCR method.
The PCR test will be provided free of cost as it comes from the hotspot of Corona virus prescribed by the government, while others will have to pay Rs 5500 for the test. If the PCR is positive, they will have to stay in quarantine for 2 weeks and will not be able to participate in the current exam. They will only be able to participate in the subsequent investigation. Perhaps the same information applies to this test. See Notice. For more :
