[Breaking news: The WHO says no corona can move from positive to no symptoms]
Rabindra Dhungel, 28 August 2020. The World Health Organization (WHO) has released new facts about the corona virus. The WHO says people who have confirmed corona virus do not transmit the infection to other people without showing symptoms of the corona virus. At a time when the corona virus is affecting the world, the head of the World Health Organization’s Emergency Diseases and Genesis Unit, Dr. Maria Van Krakov, said that although young and healthy people are positive for the corona virus, they do not show symptoms quickly and only after the infection has been confirmed.
She is presenting the data obtained. ‘Early data showed that the corona virus was transmitted from person to person, although there were no symptoms. However, the latest study has so far shown that there is no major cause of transmission of the virus from an asymptomatic infection. “There are a lot of countries where asymptomatic infections have been confirmed, so looking at their detailed reports of contract tracing, it’s very rare to have a corona infection from one person to another,” she said.
At the same time, she suggested that the world should take a slightly different approach to controlling the corona. About 7.4 million people worldwide are infected with corona. Of these, 413,648 have died. Today, some 3.6 million people worldwide are free of infections.
