[Various decisions made by the meeting of the Council of Ministers on August 25]
Rabindra Dhungel, 27 August 2020. Announcing the decision of the meeting on Thursday, government spokesperson Dr Yuvraj Khatiwada said that it has been decided to appoint Gyan Prasad Bhusal as co-counsel and post him at the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Dhankuta.
Similarly, the meeting also gave the responsibility of Executive Director of the Special Economic Zone Authority to the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies Balram Rijal and gave in-principle approval to draft the e-business related bill.
Similarly, Chief of Army Staff Saroj Kumar Adhikari has been promoted to the rank of Chief of Army Staff and 12 Brigadier Generals have also been transferred.
The meeting also decided to resume the process of issuing study permits to students who want to study at foreign universities for higher education, said Khatiwada.
