Midwestern University is going to conduct the mid-term examination of the semesters conducted at the bachelor and masters levels online. The university is going to take the mid-term examination of the candidates studying in different semesters under both the levels online from Friday. Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh informed that the virtual class has been conducted due to COVID-19 and the examination has been started online accordingly.

The exam will start at 8:00 am on Friday. P.D. Vice Chancellor Singh had decided on Shrawan 19 to conduct the examination through online system. Tej Bikram Basnet, head of the Central Campus of the Faculty of Humanities and Sociology, Midwestern University, informed that the online examination was conducted keeping in mind the geographical location of Karnali.

Stating that this facility has been provided to facilitate the students in the crisis of Kovid-19, he said that an offline exam has also been arranged for those who do not know computer. Basnet, the campus head, said they should send handwritten photos or scan them.

Chief of the Department of Folklore Science, Khagendra Adhikari, said that the online examination has done more justice to the students of the geographically remote districts of Karnali. According to the test, the semester pushed by Covid-19 was used and an alternative system was used in education.
