In the last 24 hours alone, 270 people were found infected in Kathmandu, 66 in Lalitpur and 41 in Bhaktapur, the Ministry of Health and Population said on Thursday. According to the 24-hour update, 301 people were infected with corona in the Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday. In this way, 76 new infections have been found in the Kathmandu Valley today than yesterday.

Experts say that this is not a good sign not only for the valley but also for the whole country. In the last 24 hours, 1,111 new corona infections have been reported across the country. According to the ministry, corona was confirmed in 334 women and 777 men in 12,629 samples tested in laboratories across the country. At the same time, the total number of infected has reached 35,529. According to the ministry, 183 people have died and 20,073 have been released.
