[Sunrise Bank’s ‘Women’s Savings Account’]
By Rabindra Dhungel, 23 August 2020. Sunrise Bank has launched Sunrise Women’s Savings Account with the objective of making women technology friendly by providing new services and facilities through digital medium.
The bank said that the account, which was started on the special occasion of Teej, will play an important role in the empowerment of women.
In view of the festive season, the bank has opened the account with zero balance, free debit card in the first year, mobile banking and free demat account, 50 percent discount on locker charge and special discount on procedural expenses to encourage women to do something.
It is also mentioned in the news that women have made an arrangement to give 10 percent of the payment amount or up to Rs 2,000 cash back when making digital payment.
The bank has informed that the account, which also includes various health insurance, can be opened online by the customers at home in case of this lockdown.
