Rabindra Dhungel, 22 August 2020. South Korean giant Samsung has decided to produce its latest version of the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra 5G from Bangladesh.
South Korea’s decision has taken Bangladesh’s production capacity to another level of global acceptance. Launched globally on August 5, the handset will work with fifth-generation cellular network technology, allowing users to connect to real-time interactions, fast internet, responsive and multiple devices.
“We are producing 5G devices and this shows that Bangladesh can now work on any technology,” Mohamed Mesbah, chief marketing manager at Fair Electronics, which is also Samsung’s local assembly partner, told the Daily Star.
He also said that the first batch of 5G technology will be available by mid-September. The company will increase the price of 5G devices by 26 to 27 percent and pre-booking will take place from August 10 to September.
