“English and Spanish are the two main languages here,” says a study by the organization, which is headquartered in California, USA. In addition, more than 350 languages are spoken from one side of the ocean to the other. ‘
Among the representative cities of the organization, Nepali is listed as the fifth language after English and Spanish in Denver, Colorado and fourth in Madison, Wisconsin. The organization goes on to say, “The United States is a land of multilingualism. One in five people, or 67 million people, speak a non-English language at home. ‘
The data is based on 40 million conversations in the last 12 months. This figure is based on the number of interpreters.
