Rabindra Dhungel, 21 august 2020. The National Examination Board (NEB), which has been tasked with verifying the results of Class 10 (SEE) students prepared and submitted by the school, has made the results public in the old style. The board has stated that out of the 10,908 students who filled the form for the examination, the marks were not received from the schools.

Although 482,986 students filled the form for the examination, only 472,078 students got marks, according to the board. Earlier, the board had assigned the responsibility of verification by changing the number sent by the school on the basis of internal assessment to alphabetical order, but the results have been made public in the old style.

However, the board has not made public the details of how many students got which GPA. Students will be able to know the details from various websites and SMS. The board has been criticized for adopting the old style instead of making public the details sent by its own school so that it can be seen from the school.

According to the results released separately by the provinces last year, 17,580 students had brought 3.6 to 4 GPA. Pohor 475,000 students participated in the examination.

As per the results of 2075 BS, 58,688 regular students were deprived of class 11. In other words, the GPA of those students ranged from zero point 85 to 1.2 point zero. A total of 463,689 students participated in the examination that year.

This year, after the publication of the results, there will be no re-application, review of answer scripts, re-examination and conduct of supplementary grade promotion examination. If there is an error in the personal details, the application has to be submitted to the education and coordination unit in the district within 35 days.

In the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) Class 10 Student Assessment, Results Publication and Verification Procedure, 2077 BS, the schools had prepared the results of their class 10 students on the basis of internal evaluation conducted by a three-member evaluation committee chaired by the headmaster of the school concerned. The evaluation committee, including the school headmaster, the concerned class teacher and the senior teacher on the basis of appointment, had prepared the final results of all the children of its school and sent them to the board before July 13.

According to the Secondary Education Curriculum, 2071 BS, the marks of the last examination taken under the thematic integer were changed to include the maximum syllabus of the examinations taken by the schools and the result of thematic final assessment was given in the working procedure.
