Our neighbors China and India are also among the top 10 countries in terms of gold reserves. According to a report released by Business Insider, the United States has the largest gold reserves in the world. The United States, the world’s largest economy, has 8,133 tonnes of gold reserves.
Germany is the second largest producer of gold, with a total of 3,363 tonnes of gold. In third place is Italy. Italy has 2451 metric tons of gold reserves. France is the fourth largest gold producer. France has a total gold reserves of 2,436 metric tons. Russia is in fifth place. Russia has 2299 metric tons of gold reserves.
In sixth place is Nepal’s northern neighbor China. China has 1948 metric tons of gold. In seventh place is the European country Switzerland. Which has 1,040 metric tons of gold. Japan is the eighth Asian country. Japan has 765 metric tons of gold reserves. Similarly, India’s southern neighbor India is in the ninth place.
India has 657.7 metric tonnes of gold reserves. The Netherlands is in 10th place. The Netherlands has 612.5 metric tons of gold reserves.
