Regarding exams for TU students [New update]
By Rabindra Dhungel, 18 august 2020. Tribhuvan University has postponed the examinations of all subjects and faculties scheduled to be held from the second week of August.
Controller of Examinations Pushparaj Joshi said that the examination has been postponed for the time being. Even though the exams could not be held, TU has already circulated an internal circular to the dean’s offices to start teaching under the upper level and semester system. TU is distributing email IDs to teachers and students for alternative classes.
Trivi has set a target of distributing around 500,000 IDs. Although the experts have suggested conducting the examination by alternative method, the dean’s office is preparing to conduct the examination by traditional method even though it has been postponed for the time being. TU has given the dean’s office the responsibility of conducting and managing the examination.
It is estimated that online classes will be conducted till Dasain tihar and then examinations will be conducted, said Controller of Examinations Joshi. Before that, the rest of the results of all levels and faculties have been published, according to the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
