The journey of “Real Madrid and Juventus ” in the Champions League is over


Real Madrid, the 13-time winners, are out of the title race after losing to English Premier Club Manchester City. In today’s match, Pep Guardiola’s City beat the visiting team Real 2-1 at home as they entered the quarterfinals of the competition. Adding the result of the second league , City won 4-2 overall. Earlier, in the first league match between the two, City had defeated Real 2-1 at home.




In the second league, City lost the result by scoring a goal due to the mistake of Real’s defense. Sterling scored in City’s victory in the ninth minute. However, after Benzema scored in the 28th minute, Real returned to the game. In the 68th minute, City took advantage of a mistake made by Real Madrid’s defense and scored the second goal. This time Gabriel Jesus scored for City. Due to which, Real’s journey to the Champions League came to an end. City will now play French club Lyon in the quarterfinals.



Cristiano Ronaldo’s Tim Juventus beat French club Leon 2-1 in the second league of the last 16 on Saturday morning, but after a 2-2 aggregate draw, Leon trailed Juventus in the last eight on away goals. Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice, but those two goals were not enough to take his team to the quarterfinals. However, with those two goals, Ronaldo has set a new record.


He holds the record for most goals scored by Juventus in a single season. Ronaldo has scored a total of 37 goals this season. He has managed to break the 85-year-old record in the history of Juventus. Felice Pasido had previously scored 36 goals for Juventus in the 1933 and 34 seasons. This season, Ronaldo has scored 31 goals in Serie A, four in the Champions League and two in the Copa Italia.
