The NEB instructed the school not to take the class 11 exam immediately
Rabindra Dhungel, Kathmandu, Fri, 7 Aug 2020 . As the Corona virus epidemic continues to grow. The National Examination Board(NEB) has urged the schools not to take the exam. It has been instructed not to take the annual examination of class 11 immediately as the number of infected people is increasing day by day. In the midst of the Corona epidemic, the government has instructed not to conduct Class 11 examinations until a decision is made to reopen the school.
“Even though the government of Nepal has not yet decided to reopen the school due to the infection of Covid -19, some schools have made public the program related to class 11 examination. This has created an atmosphere of panic among students and parents.” The notice issued by the board said.
According to the procedure of conducting, managing, evaluating, publishing and verifying the results of class 11 examination, the annual examination of class 11 will be conducted by the school concerned.
There is a provision that the regular examination of class 11, which has been postponed due to Covid-11, has to be taken before next January. It is mentioned in the working procedure that the partial and grade increment examinees have already given the examination before the annual examination of class 12 of 2077 BS.
Schools will only allow regular students to attend the exams with at least 70 percent attendance. In order to give the annual examination of class 12, provision has been made to bring minimum ‘D plus’ in the theoretical side and ‘C’ in the experimental side in every subject of class 11.
