Rabindra Dhungel, Kathmandu, Fri, 7 Aug 2020 . Infection with the SFTS virus caused by tick bites has begun to spread in China. Seven people have died within days of the outbreak. According to media reports, the virus was transmitted from Jiangsu province in eastern China. 37 people have been infected.

Infection was found in 23 people there. China. The symptoms of the virus are similar to those of the Coronavirus. The virus was found in a woman living in Nanijing. She had special symptoms like fever and coughing.
She was found to be deficient in leukocype and blood platelets. She was discharged a month after treatment began, but the hospital reported seven deaths in Anhui and east China´s Zhejiang province. Doctors have claimed tick bites were the main cause of the virus. The virus is not old.
Infection with the virus was also seen in 2011. It is placed in the bunya virus category.
