The All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union (ANNISU) has also objected to the recent information published by Tribhuvan University, which has created tension among many students. The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and ANNISU has urged various universities to decide on the study and examination schedule only after holding discussions with the student’s organization.
In a statement issued here today, ANNISU Co-ordinator Ranjit Tamang said that attention has been drawn to the various universities who have made public the examination schedule as soon as the lockdown was opened. It is mentioned in the release that the examination schedule that has been made public without considering the time to return to the educational institution of the students who have gone to their homes during the lockdown and the time of minimum preparation for the examination is impractical and irrelevant. He also asked to arrange free PCR test of Covid-19 for the students.
